The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 5th January 2005. (1) Amendments (1) and (4) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st January 1996. (2) Amendment (2) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 12th November 1997. (3) Amendments (3) and (5) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 26th December 2006. AMENDMENTS In the said Rules, in Class XII, in the Annexure, in column (3),— (1) after the proviso to item (ii) against Category “1. Deputy Secretary in any department other than Law and Finance” in column (1) and the corresponding entry in column (2) thereof, the following proviso shall be added, namely:— “Provided further that those who have got a left over service of three years before retirement shall compulsorily undergo district training subject to availability of vacancies in districts for district training and fulfillment of other conditions prescribed for district training.” (2) in the second proviso to item (ii), as so added, for the words “three years”, the words “two years” shall be substituted; (3) in the second proviso to item (ii), as so amended, for the words “two years”, the words “one year” shall be substituted; (4) after the proviso to item (ii) against the Category “2. Under Secretary in any department other than in Law and Finance” in column (1) and against the entry “Promotion” in column (2) thereof, the following proviso shall be added, namely:— “Provided further that those who have got a left over service of three years before retirement shall compulsorily undergo district training subject to availability of vacancies in districts for district training and fulfillment of other conditions prescribed for district training.”.
