साथ परित धारा 16 की उप-धारा (1) और (2) द्वारा प्रदत् त िजियों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, केंद्र सरकार का, ब् यरू ो से परामि ध
करने के बाद यह मत ह ै दक यह िनजहत म ें आवश् यक अथवा जहतकर ह,ै अत: एतद्द्वारा चमड े और अन्य सामजियों स े जनर्मधत
फुटजवयर (गणु वत्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2024 में और संिोधन करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत आदिे करती ह,ै नामत:-
1. (1) इस आदेि को चमडे और अन्य सामजियों स े जनर्मधत फुटजवयर (गणु वत्ता जनयंत्रण) संिोधन आदेि, 2026 कहा
िाएगा।
(2) यह आदेि आजधकाररक रािपत्र में इसके प्रकािन की तारीख से लाग ूहोगा।
2. चमडे और अन्य सामजियों से जनर्मधत फुटजवयर (गणु वत्ता जनयंत्रण) आदिे , 2024 के खंड 2 में-
(क) तीसरे परंतुक म,ें आंकड,े अक्षरों और िब्द "31 िलु ाई, 2026" को, आंकडे, अक्षर और िब्द "31 िलु ाई, 2027"
से प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा;
(ख) तीसरे परंतुक के पश्चात्, जनम्नजलजखत परंतुक को अंतर्वधष्ट दकया िाएगा, नामतः-

“बिते यह भी दक इस आदेि में कुछ भी चमडा और फुटजवयर उत्पादों के जवजनमाधताओं द्वारा अनुसंधान एवं जवकास
और गरै -वाजणजज्यक उपयोग के उद्देश्य से दकसी एक वर्ध म ें आयाजतत माल या वस्ट्तुओं के 4500 िोडे पर लागू नहीं होगा,
िो दक जनम्नजलजखत ितों के अध्यधीन होगा, दक उसे
(क) वाजणजज्यक रूप स ेनहीं बचे ा िाएगा;
(ख) 'जबक्री के जलए नहीं' जचजननत और अंदकत दकया िाएगा;
(ग) स्ट्क्रैप के रूप में जनपटाया िा सकता ह;ै
और साथ ही जवजनमाधता वर्ध-वार ररकॉडध रखेगा और यदद सरकार द्वारा वांजछत हो, तो इस े प्रस्ट्ततु
करेगा।"

ORDER
New Delhi, the 12th June, 2026
S.O. 3038(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of section 16 read
with sub-section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central
Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest and after
consulting the Bureau, hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Footwear made from
Leather and other Materials (Quality Control) Order, 2024, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement. – (1) This Order may be called the Footwear made from Leather and
other Materials (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2026.
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Footwear made from Leather and other Materials (Quality Control) Order, 2024, in clause 2, –
(a) in the third proviso, for figures, letters and word “31st July, 2026”, the figures, letters and word “31st
July, 2027” shall be substituted;
(b) after the third proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: –
“Provided also that nothing in this Order shall apply to the import of goods or articles up to 4500 pairs in a
year by manufacturers of leather and footwear products for the purposes of research and development and
non-commercial use, subject to the following conditions, that it shall, –
(a) not be sold commercially;
(b) be marked and embossed with the words ‘NOT FOR SALE’;
(c) be disposed as scrap;
and the manufacturer shall maintain year-wise records and shall be furnished to the Government as and
when required.”.
