RBI has announced the assignment of lead bank responsibility for the newly created Vav-Tharad district in Gujarat, as per the government's notification GHM/2025/210/M/RD/RCO/e-file/15/2025/5360/L1 dated September 24, 2025. Bank of Baroda has been assigned lead bank responsibility for the Vav-Tharad district with a district working code of 02U. There are no changes in the lead banks of the other districts of Gujarat. The Government of Gujarat has notified formation of new district, viz., Vav-Tharad in the state of
Gujarat vide Gazette Notification No. GHM/2025/210/M/RD/RCO/e-file/15/2025/5360/L1 dated
September 24, 2025. Accordingly, it has been decided to designate the Lead Banks of the new
