Building Bengaluru, Date:14.12.2020 NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 4 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1964) and in partial modification of earlier notifications issued in this regards and after consideration of population, area, land revenue and demands from public having regard to the administrative convenience, the Government of Karnataka proposes to alter the limits of Ballari District to consitute a new district called as Vijayanagara District as specified in the schedules for the purpose of the said Act. Now, therefore, in exercise of the power conferred by Section 6 of the said Act, notice is hereby given for the information of all the persons likely to be affected thereby that the proposal will be taken into consideration after expiry of one month from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette. Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of period specified above will be considered by the State Government.
