Timely financial assistance can provide students with greater stability, enabling them to continue their studies, focus on research and achieve their academic and professional aspirations. Demonstrating how financial support under the National Fellowship Scheme for Scheduled Caste Students can support higher education and research, Shri Badde Prasanna Kumar, a 32-year-old SC student and Research Associate, successfully pursued and completed his PhD in Agriculture Microbiology. Coming from a family that encouraged education, Prasanna Kumar received support to pursue higher studies despite financial limitations. With a strong interest in agricultural sciences, he pursued higher education in agriculture and eventually undertook doctoral research in Agriculture Microbiology.
