As per Section 65, of the Electricity Act, 2003, the State Government is required to pay the amount of subsidy in advance to the distribution companies every quarter. 3. After careful examination, Government hereby accord Administrative Sanction for an amount of Rs.3693,03,02,000.00 (Rupees three thousand six hundred ninety three crores three lakhs two thousand only) against the subsidies payable to the DISCOMS during the financial year 2021-22 under 2801-05-800-11-06-330-332-VN Agriculture, in relaxation of treasury control and quarterly regulation orders for payment of Power subsidy in advance to the Distribution Companies according to Section 65 of the Electricity Act, 2003. 4. The Assistant Secretary to Govt., & Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Energy Department, A.P. Secretariat shall remit the amount sanctioned in Para - (3) above in the Bank Account of DISCOMs (APPCC). 5.
