ACT 20 OF 1971) FOR A PERIOD OF (6) MONTHS WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. [G.O.Ms.No.10, Energy, Infrastructure & Investment (OP.A3), 30th January, 2019.] NOTIFICATION Whereas, the Government have declared all services in NTPC Limited in Andhra Pradesh as an essential services under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971, (A.P. Act No. 20 of 1971). And whereas, the Government have satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in public interest, in any services in NTPC Limited in Andhra Pradesh for a period of six (6) months. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of Section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), Government hereby prohibit strikes in all the services under the NTPC Limited in Andhra Pradesh for a period of six (6) months with immediate effect.
