ORDER
ln the G.O. 2nd read above, Government have issued Budget Release Order
(BRO) for an amount of Rs.416,65,00,000/- under Head of Account: 2801-05-190-
11-06-330-332-VN as additional funds in relaxation of treasury control orders
pending provision of funds by obtaining supplementary grants at an appropriate time
during the current financial year 2023-24 towards power subsidy.

As per Section 65 of the Electricity Act, 2003, the State Government is
required to pay the amount of subsidy in advance to the distribution companies every
quarter.
3.
After careful examination, Government hereby accord Administrative
Sanction for an amount of Rs. 416,65,00,000/- (Rupees four hundred sixteen
crores and sixty five lakhs only ) against the subsidies payable to the APDISCOMS
during the financial year 2023-24 under the following Head of Account in relaxation
of treasury control and quarterly regulation orders during CFY 2023 -24 and details
are here under:

4. The Assistant Secretary to Govt., & Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Energy
Department, A.P. Secretariat shall remit the amount sanctioned in Para -3 above in
the Bank Account of APDISCOMS (APPCC).5.
The CMDs/APDISCOI\Is and Member Convenor, APPCC, Vijayawada shall
take necessary action accordingly.
