Government to provide necessary grant - in - aid to APPCC to arrange payment to APPFCL

towards the debt service for an amount of Rs. 951,01,98,9761- before the due date i.e.,
30.09.2023.
2. In the Government order 2nd read above, Government have issued a Budget Release
Order (BRO) for an amount of Rs.951,00,00,000/- (Rupees nine hundred fifty one crore only)
as additional funds in relaxation of treasury control orders pending provision of funds by
obtaining supplementary grant at an appropriate time during the C.F.Y 2023-24 towards
pending power subsidy of past years.
3. After careful examination, Govemment hereby accord Administrative Sanction for an
amountof Rs.951,00,00,000/- (Rupees nine hundred fifty one crore only) to Member
Convenor, APPCC towards pending power subsidy of past years payable to the APDISCOMs
during the current financial year 2023-24 tn relaxation of treasury control and quarterly
regulation orders, under the following Head of Account: -

4. The Assistant Secretary to Govt., & Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Energy
Department, A.P. Secretariat shall remit the amount sanctioned in para 3 above in the Bank
Account of APDISCOMs (APPCC).5.
The Chairman & Managing Directors/APDISCOMs and Member Convenor, APPCC,
Vijayawada shall take necessary action accordingly.
