TI, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2023 G.1382 &&& NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT ORDER:- --x-- The Directorate of Electrical Safety under the administrative Control of Energy Department is responsible for enforcement of various Electrical Safety Provisions under The Electricity Act, 2003, The Central Electricity Authority (Technical Standards for construction of Electrical Plants and Electrical Lines), 2022 and The Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2023. Anticipating an enormous groMh of lndustry, there is likely increase of the work-load by way of setting up of new lndustries, Power Plants etc., resulting difficulty to the consumers in approaching the respective divisional offices, which are more than 300 Kms radius away from their places in order to fullfil the statutory obligations. Tirupati emerged as one of the major city in the State of Andhra Pradesh to attract investments and rapid industrialization in recent times which makes it mandatory for the senior most officer of this Department to be functional at the city. The Deputy Chief Electrical lnspector to Government and Electrical lnspector are essential in Tirupati & Rajamahendravaram for effective functioning of the department and to ensure that all Electrical lnstallations are designed, installed and maintained as per relevant safety code and standards for "Safe use Of Electricity" and to minimize fatal and fire accidents from all electrical hazards. 2. ln the reference 2nd read above, the Director of Electrical Safety & Chief Electrical lnspector to Government, Guntur requested for creation of posts of Deputy Chief Electrical lnspector to Government at Tirupati and Electrical lnspector at Rajamahendravaram as headquarters duly surrendering certain posts in the Directorate of Electrical Safety and also to authorise the Director of Electrical Safety & Chief Electrical Inspector to Government, Guntur to re-locate the works equally depending upon the work-load for the proper implementation of the Electricity Act, Rules and Regulations for safe use of Electricity in the State for achieving the goal of minimizing the fatal and fire accidents.3. Government, after careful consideration of the matter, hereby accord sanction for creation of One (1) post of Deputy Chief Electrical lnspector to Government at Tirupati (Scale of Pay of Rs.94,500/- - Rs 1,70,580/- as per RPS, 2022 ) and One (1) post of Electrical lnspector at Rajamahendravaram (Scale of Pay of Rs 76,730 - Rs.1,62,780 as per RPS, 2022) in the Directorate of Electrical Safety for the development of Electrical lnfrastructure, duly surrendering Seven (7) posts viz., One (1)Typist, Two (2) LD Steno, Two (2) Tester, One (1) Electrician and Two (2) Driver posts, as per the Jurisdiction indicated below:- Sl.No. Divisional Office urisdiction lrrtame of the Sub I loivisions Deputy Chief Electrical 1.SPSR Nellore, l.Nellore 1 lnspector to Govt, 2.Tirupati 2.
