EVACUATION OF 4550MW SOLAR POWER IN PHASE-I FROM THE PROPOSED
10000MW SOLAR PARKS BY GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH IN
YSR KADAPA AND ANANTAPURAMU DISTRICTS OF ANDHRA PRADESH.
NOTIFICATION
Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited has proposed
“Transmission Scheme for Evacuation of 4550MW Solar Power in Phase-I from the
proposed 10000MW Solar parks by Govt, of Andhra Pradesh in YSR Kadapa and
Anantapuramu districts of Andhra Pradesh.” with the erection of the following scope
of works. The total Estimated cost of the scheme is Rs.125.07 Crores including
Interest during Construction of Rs.13.16 Crores. The Scheme is proposed for
completion during the year 2023-2024 and will result in reduction of EHT transmission
losses, improvement of voltage profiles & to meet 9 Hrs Day Time Power Supply to
farmers for agriculture consumption and additional load demand in the region and
surrounding areas.

1) Augmentation of ICTs from (3x315MVA to 3x315MVA+1x500MVA) & 220kV
Bay Extensions at 400kV Talaricheruvu SS for Urichintala Solar Park in
Anantapuramu District.
2) 220kV Bay Extensions at 400kV Jammalamadugu SS in Kadapa District.
3) Construction of 220kV Switching Station at Mudigubba in Anantapuramu District.
In exercise of the powers conferred vide G.O.Ms.No.115, Dated: 07-10-2003 of
Government of Andhra Pradesh. APTRANSCO or their authorized representatives shall
have the powers for placing of the electric supply lines or electric plant for the transmission
of electricity or for the purpose of telephonic or telegraphic communications necessary
for the proper co-ordination of works that a telegraphic authority possesses under the
provision of the Indian Telegraph Act. 1885 (Central Act-13 of 1885).
Any person interested/aggrieved may make representation to the Chief Engineer/
Construction, APTRANSCO, Vidyut Soudha. Vijayawda within two (2) months from the
date of publication of this notification.
Representations received after the due date will not be considered and
APTRANSCO will take-up the above works after due date with/without modification as
it deems fit after making enquiry if necessary.
