From the DG, ACB, Lr.Rc.No.292/RCA-NNL/2009, dt.03.01.2024. ***** ORDER:- In the G.O.1st read above, Government issued orders appointing Sri R.P. Thakur, IPS (Retd), Member, Commissionerate of Inquiries, General Administration Department as Inquiring Authority to conduct regular enquiry into the first allegation i.e., “acquisition of assets Disproportionate to the known sources of income to the tune of Rs.17,35,740/- “against the Delinquent Officer Sri Puli Venkata Ramanaiah.2. In the reference 2nd read above, Government issued orders appointing Sri B.V.A. Narasimha Murthy, Advocate for Commissionerate of Inquiries, General Administration Department as Presenting Officer to present the case before the Inquiring Authority on behalf of the disciplinary authority to enquire into the charges framed against the Delinquent Officer Sri Puli Venkata Ramanaiah. 3. In the reference 3rd read above, the General Administration (Commissionerate of Inquiries-Registry) Department have informed that the tenure of Sri R.P. Thakur, IPS (Retd), Member, Commissionerate of Inquiries is completed by 09.09.2023. Hence, the case which was earlier allotted to Sri R.P. Thakur, IPS (Retd), the then Member, Commissionerate of Inquiries vide reference 1st read above is re-assigned to Dr. P. Laxminarasimham, IAS (Retd), Commissioner of Appeals, O/o. C.C.L.A., A.P., and Commissionerate of Inquiries (I/c) on administrative grounds. 4. In the reference 4th read above, the Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau has nominated Sri B.V.A. Narasimha Murthy, Panel Advocate as Presenting Officer to present the case before the Inquiring Authority to conduct regular enquiry into the first allegation against the Delinquent Officer Sri Puli Venkata Ramanaiah. 5. In the circumstances reported by General Administration (COI-R) Department in the reference 3rd read above and Director General, Anti- Corruption Bureau in the reference 4th read above, the following amendment is issued to the G.O.1st read above: - AMENDMENT For para-3 of the said G.O.1st read above, the following shall be replaced: Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of Rule 20 of the said rule, the disciplinary authority hereby appoints Dr. P. Laxminarasimham, IAS (Retd), Commissioner of Appeals, O/o. Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Andhra Pradesh and Commissionerate of Inquiries (In-charge) to conduct regular enquiry into the first allegation i.e., “acquisition of assets Disproportionate to the known sources of income to the tune of Rs.17,35,740/-“ against the Delinquent Officer mentioned at para-1 above.
