[G.O.Rt.No.108, Energy, Infrastructure & Investment (OP-A3), 24th July, 2017.] Read :- From the Director of Electrical Safety & CEIG, AP, Guntur, Lr.No. DES&CEIG/TECH/GNT/D.No.1480/2017, Dated : 18-07-2017. **** Under the circumstances explained by the Directorate of Electrical Safety & Chief Electrical Inspector to Government of Andhra Pradesh, Guntur in his letter read above, Government after careful examination, here by permits the Directorate Electrical Safety Department to issue Statutory approvals online as per guide lines of “Ease of Doing Business”. The consumer/owner of the installation shall upload all the necessary payments, drawings and documents specified from time in the web portal “ceig.ap.gov.in” of Director of Electrical Safety and Chief Electrical Inspector to Government of Andhra Pradesh. Invariably through online and this is mandatory. As per the Ease of Doing Business guidelines, it any officer delays to deliver the services in time as per the online portal/under public service delivery guarantee act, the concerned officer is liable to pay penalty at Rs.100/- per day per approval subject to maximum of Rs. 700 per approval.
