Power and 1,500 MW Wind Power Projects in Nandyal, Kurnool and YSR
Districts for energy requirement to the proposed Integrated Solar PV

O R D E R: -
In the reference 1st read above, the Government of Andhra Pradesh
has issued orders allotting Captive Power Plants of 2,200 MW Pumped
Hydro Storage Power Projects, 3,500 MW Solar Power and 1,500 MW Wind
Power Projects in Nandyal, Kurnool and YSR Districts to meet the energy
requirement of the proposed Integrated Solar PV Manufacturing Unit being
set up by M/s. Indosol Solar Private Ltd. (ISPL).
2. In the reference 2nd read above, M/s. Indosol Solar Pvt. Ltd. has
requested to consider certain additional incentives and amendments to the
above Government Orders, communicating that the Solar PV module
manufacturing facility being set up by them is highly energy intensive and
requires reliable low-cost power and requested incentives and amendments
will help them to compete with international market.
3. The request of M/s. Indosol Solar Pvt. Ltd. has been placed before
State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting held on 30.01.2024. The

SIPB has decided for amendment of certain provisions of G.O.Ms.No:19,
dt: 12.09.2022 of Energy (Power-II) Department as detailed below:

10(iv) Allotment of project areas in SIPB has agreed for allocation of
case of Solar projects at lands in Urichintala (V) of
Kolimigundla mandal, Tadipatri (M), Ananthapur (D) and
Kurnool Dist., M A.Kambaladinne (V),
Kambaladinne & Kaderabad Chinnaventhurla(V),
villages of Mylavaram Mandal, B.Venkatapuram(V),
YSR Dist and @2.50 acres per Besthavemula(V), Nelanuthala(V)
MW for wind power projects at and Kallutla (V) of Mylavaram (M),
Dhone West and Hebattam, YSR Dist.
Holagunda mandal, Nandyal/

4. Government after detailed examination of the proposal of
M/s.Indosol Solar Pvt. Ltd., in consultation with various stakeholders i.e.,
Revenue Dept., EFS&T Dept in the light of the decisions taken in the State
Investment Promotion Board, the following amendments are in the
G.O.Ms.No.19,dt:12.09.2022 Energy (Power-II) Department as detailed
below:

Dept./ APTRANSCO shall take necessary action accordingly pertains to their
issues.
7. The Vice Chairman & Managing Director, New and Renewable Energy
Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh, Tadepalli shall take further
necessary action accordingly.
