Registered No. HSE-49/2016 PART I EXTRAORDINARY No.442 AMARAVATI, TUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2026 G.499 NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT --x-- Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department – Appointment of New Special officer to Guntakal Municipality on administrative grounds - Orders – Issued. =========================================================== [G.O.Rt.No. 1032, MA&UD (G) DEPARTMENT, Date: 11.08.2026] NOTIFICATION Whereas, vide G.O.Rt.No. 284, MA&UD (G) Department, Date: 10.03.2026, Government have issued orders appointing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Guntakal, Anantapuram District as Special Officer to Guntakal Municipality, one among others, for a period of six (06) months from 18.03.2026 or till the elected body comes into office, whichever is earlier. Subsequently, Government vide G.O.Rt.No. 339, MA&UD (G) Department, dated: 17.03.2026 have issued amendment orders. 2. In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso under sub section (1) of Section 62-A of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby appoints the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Anantapuramu District, as the Special Officer to Guntakal Municipality with immediate effect in place of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Guntakal, (Present Special officer) on administrative grounds for a period of (6) months or till elected body comes into force, whichever is earlier.
