NOTIFICATION-I In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authorities Act, 2016 (Act No.5 of 2016), the Government of Andhra Pradesh having regard to the need for the promotion of development activities relating to as a Urban Development Authority to achieve the objectives of the region witnesses tremendous growth in the domains of Industries, Imports and Exports etc. hereby specify a special Urban Development Area for the area comprised within the jurisdiction of West Godavari District consisting of 6 Urban Local Bodies(ULBs), and 19 Mandals and 282 villages to an extent of 2174.675 Sq.Kms with Head Quarters at Bhimavaram as specified in the Schedule appended to this notification to be a Urban Development Area for the purpose of the said Act and the said Area shall be as "Bhimavaram Urban Development Authority (BHIMA UDA)". 1SCHEDULE Details of ULBS and Mandals Constituted in the Jurisdiction of Bhimavaram Urban Development Authority (BHIMA UDA) A.
