Manager (HR), NTPC Limited, Secunderabad, L.No.SRHQ:HR-ER:2017/9595, Dt.01.05.2017 & 18.09.2017. ***** NOTIFICATION Whereas, in the G.O. 1st read above the Government have declared any services in NTPC Limited in Andhra Pradesh as an essential services under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971, (A.P. Act No.20 of 1971); [1]2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-I And whereas, in the G.O. 4th read above, the Government have prohibited strikes in all services under the NTPC Limited in Andhra Pradesh for a period of six (6) months with effect from 06.12.2016. And whereas, the Government have satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in public interest, in any services in NTPC Limited in Andhra Pradesh for a period of six (6) months; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of Section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act 20 of 1971), Government hereby prohibit strikes in all the services under the NTPC Limited in Andhra Pradesh for a period of six (6) months with effect from the date of issue of this order.
