1988 for acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets to his known sources
of income against AO Sri Puli Venkata Ramanaiah, S/o. Late Krishnaiah, Ex-
Executive Engineer, Civil (Construction-II), Rayalaseema Thermal Power Project
(RTPP), V.V. Reddynagar, Yarraguntla Mandal, YSR dist., now working as Executive
Engineer (Civil), Sri Damodaram Sanjeevaiah Thermal Power Station (SDSTPS),
APGENCO, Nelatur Village, Muthukur Mandal, SPSR Nellore dist. - Case registered in
Cr.No.22/ RCA-NLR/2009 on 27.11.2009 - Final report & draft AoCs sent -
Entrusted the case to Sri R.P. Thakur, IPS (Retd), Member, CoI - Appointment of
Sri B.V.A. Narasimha Murthy, Advocate for Commissionerate of Inquiries, General
Administration Dept., as Presenting Officer to present the case before the Inquiring
Authority to inquire into the charges framed against the AO under Sub-Rule (5) (c)
of Rule 20 of A.P.C.S. (CC&A) Rules, 1991 - Orders – Issued.

ORDER:
In the reference 1st read above, Government issued orders appointing Sri R.P.
Thakur. IPS (Retd.), Member, Commissioner of Inquiries, General Administration
Department as the Inquiring Authority to conduct regular enquiry into the first
allegation i.e., “acquisition of assets Disproportionate to the known sources of
income to the tune of Rs.17,35,740/-“ against Sri Puli Venkata Ramanaiah and
instructed to complete the inquiry and furnish the Inquiry Report to Government,
within three months positively, with his own attestation in duplicate.2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau
has nominated Sri B.V.A. Narasimha Murthy, Advocate for Commissionerate of
Inquiries, General Administration Department, as Presenting Officer to present the
case before the Inquiring Authority to inquire into the charges framed against Sri
Puli Venkata Ramanaiah, now working as Executive Engineer (Civil), Sri
Damodaram Sanjeevaiah Thermal Power Station, APGENCO, Nelatur Village,
Muthukur Mandal, SPSR Nellore district and requested to communicate a copy of
orders appointing Sri B.V.A. Narasimha Murthy, Advocate as Presenting Officer to
the Bureau.
3. In the circumstance stated by the Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau,
Government hereby appoints Sri B.V.A. Narasimha Murthy, Advocate for
Commissionerate of Inquiries, General Administration Department, as Presenting
Officer to present the case before the Inquiring Authority on behalf of the
disciplinary authority to enquire into the charges framed against Sri Puli Venkata
Ramanaiah, Ex-Executive Engineer, Civil (Construction-II), Rayalaseema Thermal
Power Project (RTPP), V.V. Reddynagar, Yarraguntla Mandal, YSR dist., now
working as Executive Engineer (Civil), Sri Damodaram Sanjeevaiah Thermal Power
Station (SDSTPS), APGENCO, Nelatur Village, Muthukur Mandal, SPSR Nellore dist.,
under sub-rule (5) (c) of Rule 20 of A.P. Civil Services (Classification, Control &
Appeal) Rules, 1991.
4. The Presenting Officer is requested to approach the Inquiring Authority with
original records pertaining to the case along with the present address of the
Accused Officer so as to enable the Inquiring Authority to commence inquiry
proceedings immediately. The Presenting Officer is requested to acquaint himself
with the case thoroughly and present the case on behalf of the disciplinary
authority before the Inquiring Authority.
