Registered No. HSE-null PART II EXTRAORDINARY No.1 AMARAVATI, THURSDAY, JANUARY 2, 2020 G.847 NOTIFICATIONS BY HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS, Etc. --x-- ANDHRA PRADESH ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION Regulation 6 of 2019 Amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 1999 (Regulation 2 of 1999) INTRODUCTION : Clause 3(2) of the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 1999 (Regulation 2 of 1999) specifies the days on which in a week and the timings at which the headquarters and other offices of the Commission shall remain open for conducting its business. The Commission decided that it is necessary in public interest to notify its working days for a calendar year in advance and publish the same so that all the stakeholders are informed beforehand. Now therefore, the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 1999 (Regulation 2 of 1999) are amended by issuing the following amendment Regulation. ANDHRA PRADESH ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION (CONDUCT OF BUSINESS) FIFTH AMENDMENT REGULATION, 2019 In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 181 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003) and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission makes the following Regulation to further amend the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 1999 amended from time to time which may be referred to as the Principal Regulation. [1]2 ANDHRA PRADESH GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-II PART-1 GENERAL 1. Short title and commencement : (i) This Regulation may be called the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Fifth Amendment Regulation, 2019. (ii) This Regulation shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in the official gazette. PART-2 AMENDMENT 2. Substitution of sub-clause (2) in Clause 3 of the Principal Regulation (i) Sub-clause (2) of Clause 3 of the Principal Regulation shall be substituted with the following : “The Commission shall fix the annual calendar denoting the working days and holidays and shall host the same on its website at/before the commencement of each calendar year. Provided however that till such time as the annual calendar for the year 2020 is notified, the Commission shall follow the calendar of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.” (BY ORDER OF THE COMMISSION) C.
