847(E).—Whereas, the lands, buildings, streets, roads, passages or the right of users or right in the nature of easement therein, specified in the Schedule, are required in connection with Construction of underground Metro Railway located within the span of Metro Corridor from Mominpur to Esplanade section of Joka – B.B.D Bag Metro Corridor. And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that such requirement of lands, buildings, streets, roads, passages or the right of user or easement therein are require for public purpose. And whereas, the plan bearing drawing number RVNL/KOL/METRO/MMN-ESP/LA/SURVEY MAP/2021 of the area specified in the Schedule, is available for inspection in the office of the Competent Authority at 39/1, Rash Behari Avenue, (1st Floor), Kolkata-700026. Now, therefore, in exercise of the power conferred by Sub-Section (1) of Section 7 of the Metro Railway (Construction of Works) Act,1978 (33 of 1978), the Central Government hereby declares its intension to acquire the lands, buildings, streets, roads, passages or the right of usersor right in the nature of easement therein, as specified in the Schedule. Any person interested in the said lands, buildings, streets, roads, passages or the right of users or easement therein, as mentioned in the Schedule may, within twenty one days from the date of publication of the substance of this notification, object under Sub-Section (1) of Section 9 of the said Act to such acquisition. The objections, if any, may be forwarded to the Competent Authority in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof, and the Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard either in person or by a legal practitioner and may, after hearing such objection and after making such enquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections.
