जनमाकण एवं उससे संबंजधत अन्य कायों के जलए अनुसूची में जवजनर्दकष्ट भूजम, भवन, स्ट्रीट, सड़क अथवा पथ या उनके उपयोग
के अजधकार या सुखाजधकार के रूप म ेंअपेजित ह।ैं
और िबकक, केन्रीय सरकार संतुष्ट ह ै कक ऐसी अजतररक्त भूजम, भवन, स्ट्रीट, सड़क, रास्ट्त े या उनमें उपयोग के
अजधकार या सुखाजधकार लोक प्रयोिन के जलए अपेजित ह।ै
और िबकक, अनुसूची में जवजनर्दकष्ट िेत्र से संबंजधत योिना आरेख स.ं आरवीएनएल/कोल/मेरो/िोका डायमंड
पाकक/2025/1/रेव.-आर1, सिम प्राजधकारी, 39/1, रास जबहारी एवेन्यू, (प्रथम तल), कोलकाता-700026 के कायाकलय म ें
जनरीिण हते ु उपलब्ध ह।ै
अतः, अब, केन्रीय सरकार मरे ो रेलव े (संकमक संजनमाकण) अजधजनयम, 1978 (1978 का 33) की धारा 7 की
उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए एतद्वारा अनुसूची म ें यथा जवजनर्दकष्ट अजतररक्त भूजम, भवन, स्ट्रीट,
सड़क, रास्ट्ता या उनके उपयोग के अजधकार या सुखाजधकार के रूप म ेंअर्िकत करन े के अपन ेआिय की घोषणा करती ह।ै
उक्त भूजम में जहतबद्ध कोई व्यजक्त इस अजधसूचना के सार की प्रकािन की तारीख से इक्कीस कदन के भीतर उक्त
अनुसूची म ें यथा उजललजखत भूजम, भवन, स्ट्रीट, पथ, सड़क या रास्ट्ता या उनम ें उपयोग के अजधकार या सुखाजधकार के जलए

उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 9 की उपधारा (1) के अधीन इस प्रकार के अजधग्रहण के जवरुद्ध आिेप कर सकेगा। उपधारा (1)
के अधीन हर आिपे जलजखत म ें सिम प्राजधकारी को ककया िाएगा और उसमें उसके आधार वर्णकत होंगे। सिम प्राजधकारी
आिेपकताक को व्यजक्तगत रूप से या ककसी वकील के माध्यम से सुनवाई का अवसर प्रदान करेगा एवं आिेपों की सुनवाई
तथा ऐसी अजतररक्त िांच, यकद कोई हो, िैसी सिम प्राजधकारी आवश्यक समझे, करन े के पश्चात आदिे द्वारा आिेपों को
मंिूर या नामंिूर कर सकेगा।
सिम प्राजधकारी द्वारा उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 9 की उपधारा (2) के अधीन िारी ककया गया कोई आदेि
अंजतम होगा।

NOTIFICATION
Kolkata, the 4th June, 2026
S.O. 2865(E).— WHEREAS, the land, building, street, road, passage or the right of user or easement therein,
specified in the Schedule, are required for the purpose of construction of Joka to Diamond Park Metro Project
(Phase-1) and other works connected therewith in the metropolitan City of Kolkata;
AND WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that such requirement of additional lands, buildings,
streets, roads, passages or the right of users or easement therein are required for public purpose;
AND WHEREAS, the plan bearing drawing number RVNL/KOL/METRO/JOKA DIAMOND
PARK/2025/1/Rev.-R1 of the area specified in the Schedule, is available for inspection in the office of the Competent
Authority at 39/1, Rash Bihari Avenue, (1st Floor), Kolkata-700026;
NOW, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Metro Railways
(Construction of Works) Act, 1978 (33 of 1978), the Central Government hereby declares its intention to acquire the
additional lands, buildings, streets, roads, passages or the right of users or easement therein, as specified in the
Schedule;
Any person interested in the said lands, buildings, streets, roads, passages or the right of users or easement
therein, as mentioned in the Schedule may, within twenty-one days from the date of publication of the substance of
this notification, object under sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act to such acquisition. Every objection under
sub-section (1) shall be made to the Competent Authority in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof, and the
Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard either in person or by a legal practitioner
and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority
thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections.
Any order made, by the Competent Authority under Sub Section (2) of Section 9 of the said Act shall
