Various representations have been received from different political parties of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir for shifting the date of poll of election from 3-Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary Constituency (PC) of Jammu & Kashmir, due to various logistic, communication and natural barriers of connectivity turning out as hindrance in campaigning which in turn tantamount to lack of fair opportunities for the contesting candidates in the said Parliamentary Constituency which may affect poll process. 3. The Commission, after seeking the factual report from UT administration and Chief Electoral Officer as well as analysing the ground situation prevailing in the said Parliamentary Constituency, and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 56 of Representation of People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), hereby makes following amendments in the notification No. 464/EPS/2024(3), dated 12th April, 2024 issued in connection with General Election to Lok Sabha, 2024:- No. & Name of Parliamentary Notified Date of Poll Revised Date of Poll Constituency 3-Anantnag-Rajouri 7th May, 2024 (Tuesday) 25th May, 2024 (Saturday) (Phase-3) (Phase-6) 4.
