While issuing 2D barcode certificates, old registration numbers issued by the erstwhile Central Board of Indian Medicine from the year 1933 were cancelled and new numbers were given separately for Ayurveda and Unani. As discussed with the Central Council of Indian Medicine officials, the old registration certificates with old registration number will not be valid from 01-01-2017.
