Under Section 30 of Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act as amended by Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Act VII of 1959 if a Vacation Civil Judge is appointed for the Civil Unit of the Nilgiris District, Suits, Appeals and other proceedings or Urgent Civil Nature will be received and disposed of by him in terms and rules that may be framed in this regard if not they should be presented before the Honourable High Court of Madras. IX. Urgent applications for grant of Bail should be made to the Hon’ble High Court of Madras, if no Vacation Sessions Judge is appointed or in the absence of Sessions Judge, from the Division during the above adjournments.
