New Delhi, the 2nd March, 2026
S.O. 1129(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 14 read with sub-sections
(2) and (3) of section 15, sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16, section 17 and sub-section (3) of section 25 of the
Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, is of the opinion that it is necessary or
expedient so to do in the public interest, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, hereby makes the following
order, further to amend the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold Artefacts Order, 2020, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement. -(1) This Order may be called the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold
Artefacts (Amendment) Order, 2026.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold Artefacts Order, 2020, for the ANNEXURE, the following
