[G.O. (2D) No. 18, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare (BCC), 14th May 2010.] No. SRO B-46/2010.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following rules:— 2. The rules hereby made shall be deemed to have came into force on the 29th January 1999. RULES The General and the Special Rules applicable to the holders of the permanent post of Section Officer in Category 3 in the Tamil Nadu General Service (Class XII) shall apply to the holder of the temporary post of Section Officer in the Office of the Tamil Nadu Backward Classes Commission, subject to the modifications specified in the following rules:— 2. Constitution.—The posts shall constitute a temporary addition to the said category in the said class of the said service. 3. Appointment.—Appointment to the posts shall be made by transfer from the posts of Section Officers in the departments of Secretariat other than the Law and Finance Departments and Governor’s Secretariat. 4. Appointing authority.—The appointing authority for the post shall be the Member-Secretary, Tamil Nadu Backward Classes Commission. Ad hoc rules relating to temporary post of Assistant in the Office of the Tamil Nadu Backward Classes Commission. [G.O. The rules hereby made shall be deemed to have came into force on the 29th January 1999. [G.O. Ms. No. 48, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (M), 23rd March 2010, ðƒ°Q 9, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2041.] No. SRO B-48/2010.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 318 and proviso to clause (3) of Article 320 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954 (Volume I of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1987). 2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 5th January 2005. AMENDMENT In the said Regulations, in regulation 8, in clause (2), for the words “in addition to the six Under Secretaries”, the words “in addition to one Deputy Secretary and six Under Secretaries” shall be substituted. Amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu General Service. [G.O. Ms. No. 76, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (C), 21st May 2010, ¬õè£C 7, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2041.] No. SRO B-49/2010.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu General Service (Section 16 in Volume II of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1970). (1) Amendments (1) and (4) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st January 1996. (2) Amendment (2) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 12th November 1997. (3) Amendments (3) and (5) hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 26th December 2006. AMENDMENTS In the said Rules, in Class XII, in the Annexure, in column (3),— (1) after the proviso to item (ii) against Category “1. Deputy Secretary in any department other than Law and Finance” in column (1) and the corresponding entry in column (2) thereof, the following proviso shall be added, namely:— “Provided further that those who have got a left over service of three years before retirement shall compulsorily undergo district training subject to availability of vacancies in districts for district training and fulfillment of other conditions prescribed for district training.” (2) in the second proviso to item (ii), as so added, for the words “three years”, the words “two years” shall be substituted; (3) in the second proviso to item (ii), as so amended, for the words “two years”, the words “one year” shall be substituted; (4) after the proviso to item (ii) against the Category “2. Under Secretary in any department other than in Law and Finance” in column (1) and against the entry “Promotion” in column (2) thereof, the following proviso shall be added, namely:— “Provided further that those who have got a left over service of three years before retirement shall compulsorily undergo district training subject to availability of vacancies in districts for district training and fulfillment of other conditions prescribed for district training.”.
