The Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, published by authority on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 (No. 9), contains notifications by the government under Part III-Section 1(b), specifically concerning Service Rules including Ad hoc Rules, Regulations, etc., issued by Secretariat Departments.
The Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department has issued amendments to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations (G.O. Ms. No. 113, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (M), 15th November 2016). These amendments, made in exercise of powers conferred by Article 318 of the Constitution of India, concern the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954 (Volume-I of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1987).
Amendments:
1. After regulation 7-C, regulation 7-D is inserted: "The Chairman and the Members of the Commission shall be under the purview of the State Vigilance Commission and Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption."
2. In Annexure II, in rule 7-A, the phrase "except the Chairman and Members of the Commission," is omitted.
These amendments are deemed to have come into force on the 9th of August 2011.
