SRO B-12/2017 details the amendments made by the Governor of Tamil Nadu under Article 318 of the Constitution of India, to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954 (Volume-I of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1987). These amendments are deemed to have come into force on the 9th August 2011.
After regulation 7-C, the following regulation shall be inserted, namely: "7-D. The Chairman and the Members of the Commission shall be under the purview of the State Vigilance Commission and Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption." In Annexure II, in rule 7-A, the expression "except the Chairman and Members of the Commission," shall be omitted.
