[G.O. Ms. No. 28, Labour and Employment (K2), 22nd February 2018, ñ£C 10, «ýM÷‹H, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2049.] No. SRO A-13/2018.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 43 of the Plantations Labour Act, 1951 (Central Act LXIX of 1951), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu Plantations Labour Rules, 1955, the draft of the same having been previously published as required by the said sub-section (1) of Section 43 of the said Act. AMENDMENTS (1) In rule 2A, in sub-rule (2), in the Table, in column (3),— (i) against serial number 1, for the expression ''150'', the expression ''1000’’ shall be substituted; (ii) against serial number 2, for the expression ''300'', the expression ''1500’’ shall be substituted; (iii) against serial number 3, for the expression ''600'', the expression ''2000’’ shall be substituted; (iv) against serial number 4, for the expression ''900'', the expression ''2500’’ shall be substituted; (v) against serial number 5, for the expression ''1200'', the expression ''3000’’ shall be substituted; (vi) against serial number 6, for the expression ''2000'', the expression ''6000’’ shall be substituted; (vii) against serial number 7, for the expression ''3000'', the expression ''10000’’ shall be substituted; (2) In rule 2D,— (i) in sub-rule (3), for the expression, ‘‘Rs. 50/- (Rupees fi fty only)’’ occurring in two places, the expression ‘‘Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only)’’ shall be substituted; (ii) in sub-rule (5), for the expression, ''Rs. 50/- (Rupees fi fty only)’’ the expression ‘‘Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only)’’ shall be substituted.
