NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT HOME DEPARTMENT (Courts-II) CONSTITUTION OF FAMILY COURT AT PADMANABHAPURAM AND NAGERCOIL IN KANNIYAKUMARI DISTRICT UNDER THE FAMILY COURTS ACT.

AMENDMENT TO NOTIFICATION. [G.O. Ms. No.168, Home (Courts-II), 3rd April 2025, பங்குனி 20, குரோ�ோதி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. II(2)/HO/276(b-1)/2025.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) read with sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Family Courts Act, 1984 (Central Act 66 of 1984), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the High Court of Madras, hereby establishes a Family Court at Padmanabhapuram in Kanniyakumari District with effect from the date of assumption of charge by the Judge of the said Court and also hereby specifies that the jurisdiction of the said Family Court shall extend to the local limits of the Kalkulam, Vilavancode, Killiyoor and Thiruvattar Taluks.

NOTIFICATION-II CONSTITUTION OF FAMILY COURT OF NAGERCOIL IN KANYAKUMARI DISTRICT UNDER THE FAMILY COURTS ACT [G.O. Ms. No.168, Home (Courts-II), 3rd April 2025, பங்குனி 20, குரோ�ோதி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. II(2)/HO/276(b-2)/2025.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) read with sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Family Courts Act, 1984 (Central Act 66 of 1984), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the High Court of Madras, hereby makes the following amendment to the Home Department Notification No.II(2)HO/295(a-3)/2017, published at page 2 of Part II-Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 21st April, 2017, as subsequently amended, namely:- Amendment In the said Notification, for the expression "entire Kanniyakumari District", the expression "the Agastheeswaram and Thovalai Taluks" shall be substituted.
