NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT HOME DEPARTMENT (Transport-I) AMENDMENT TO THE TAMIL NADU MOTOR VEHICLES RULES, 1989 [G.O. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 111 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, the draft of the same having been previously published as required under sub-section (1) of Section 212 of the said Act. Amendment. In the said Rules, in rule 319, after the fourth proviso, the following proviso shall be added, namely:- “Provided also that in the case of mini bus, there shall be, on the left side of the vehicle, an entrance-cum-exit or an entrance in the rear and an exit in the front of the vehicle.” DHEERAJ KUMAR, Additional Chief Secretary to Government.
