NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT HOME DEPARTMENT (Transport-I) AMENDMENTS TO THE NEW COMPREHENSIVE SCHEME, 2024 FARE REVISION OF MINI BUS UNDER THE MOTOR VEHICLES ACT, 1988 [G.O. Ms. No. 199, Home (Transport-I), 28th April 2025, சித்திரைை 15, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. II(1)/HO/7(k)/2025. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section 67 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Direction Published in Home Department Notification No.II(1)/HO/4(a-2)/2025 at page 7 of Part ll—Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 24th January, 2025:- Amendments In the said Direction,- (1) in para 1, in the Table, after the entries “Tenth” and “(above 18 and upto 20 km)” in column (1) and the corresponding entry in column (2) thereof, the following entries shall, respectively, be added, namely:- “Eleventh (above 20 and upto 22 km) 10.00 Twelfth (above 22 and upto 24 km) 11.00 Thirteenth (above 24 and upto 26 km) 11.00”; (2) for para 2, the following para shall be substituted, namely:- “2.The fare revision is effective to the existing permit holders and also to the prospective permit holders under the New Scheme and shall come into force with effect on and from the 15th June 2025”.
