Order : No. 154, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (N-SPL), dated 10th October 2019. The following Notification issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India, New Delhi, dated 1st October, 2018 is republished:— G.S.R. 952 (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (c) of the sub-section (2) of Section 35 and Section 36A of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (13 of 1985), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members) Rules, 1988, namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members) Amendment Rules, 2018. (2) These rules shall be applicable to the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Member of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal appointed before the 19th February 2007. 2. In rule 8 of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members) Rules, 1988, in sub-rule (2), for the words ''rupees fourteen thousand five hundred and thirty two per annum'' the words ''rupees forty thousand eight hundred and thirty six per annum'' shall be substituted and shall be deemed to have been substituted with effect from the 1st day of January 2016. Explanatory Memorandum: With a view to implement the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission regarding the Central Government employees' pension, the Central Government has decided to revise the pension of the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal with effect from the 1st day of January, 2016 who were appointed before the 19th day of February, 2007. Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members) Rules, 1988 are being amended with retrospective effect from the 1st day of January, 2016.Oct. 30, 2019] TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAzETTE 153 2. It is certified that no Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Member of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal is likely to be affected adversely by the proposed amendment being given retrospective effect. Note:- Principle rules were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, sub-section (1) vide notification number G.S.R. 756(E), dated the 29th June, 1988 and subsequently amended vide notification numbers:- 1. G.S.R.1047(E), dated the 13th December, 1989. 2. G.S.R.47(E) dated the 31st January, 1994. 3. G.S.R.746(E), dated the 16th December 1998. 4. G.S.R.302(E), dated the 27th April 2001. 5.
