The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), a National Centre of the
Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), will celebrate National Science Day
with a wide range of engaging and educational activities for students on February
27, 2026, at its campus in Mumbai.
National Science Day is observed across India every year on February 28 to
commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by the eminent Indian physicist, C.
V. Raman, in 1928.
