The amendments hereby made may be deemed to have come into force on the date of issue of this notification. AMENDMENT In the said Special Rules in Part-II under the heading Branch I-Medical, after rule 22, the following rule shall be added, namely:- 23. Special provisions regarding service conditions of Assistant Surgeons (Dental) appointed on or after the date of this notification. (a) The appointing authority in respect of Assistant Surgeon (Dental) recruited on or after the date of issue of Notification shall be the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services.
