It is hereby notified, by direction, that the following Elections will be held as detailed below:

(a) the Elections will be held in accordance with rules and procedures stipulated for the conduct of Election to the University authorities as per the Statutes of this University.
(b) Nominations / declarations should be made in the prescribed form which may be obtained from the Registrar i/c (Returning Officer) / downloaded from this University website www.msuniv.ac.in.
Nomination papers shall be enclosed in an envelope superscribing the above elections (each election separately) and sent by Registered Post (with Acknowledgment due), so as to be received by the Returning Officer / Registrar i/c, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Abishekapatti, Tirunelveli, within the date and hour fixed or delivered either in person or by messenger to the Returning Officer / Registrar i/c within the last date and hour fixed. Nomination papers that are not enclosed in an envelope, superscribed and sent by Registered Post or are not delivered in person or by messenger as required above shall be declared invalid.

Election of Two Members to the Syndicate by Teachers Who are Members of the Senate from among themselves in Accordance with the System of Proportional Representation by means of the Single Transferable Vote - 2026 (No.MSU/R/M&E/ELEC/SYN/NOTIFN/2026) No.VI - 3(b)/22/2026.
It is hereby notified, by direction, that the following election to the Syndicate of this University will be held as detailed
below:
