Order:- No.20, Welfare of Differently Abled Persons (DAP-3.2), dated: 26th September 2025
As per section 33(i) of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (Central Act 49 of 2016) “the appropriate
Government shall identify posts in the establishments which can be held by respective category of persons with benchmark
disabilities in respect of the vacancies reserved in accordance with the provisions of section 34” of the said Act.
2. In the Government Order 2nd read above, orders were issued for reconstitution of the Expert Committee for
identification of suitable posts for Differently Abled Persons in respect of Group ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ categories for
implementation of 4% reservation to the differently abled persons in employment.
3. The Expert Committee Meeting held under the Chairmanship of Secretary to Government, Welfare of Differently
Abled Persons Department with the concerned Departments on 27.06.2023, 03.01.2024, 27.05.2025 and 28.05.2025.
The Committee has recommended to identify/re-identify 119 posts as suitable for the Differently Abled Persons under
Group ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ categories for direct recruitment.

4. The Government after careful examination of the recommendations of the Expert Committee, have decided
to identify / re-identify 119 posts in various Departments as most suitable for different categories of Differently Abled
Persons. The list of 119 posts is given in the Annexure to this order. These identified post, if it is to be filled by promotion
from feeder category, then a separate post identification for promotion as per Government Order 3rd read above does
not arise.
