**Summary:**
Effective October 1, 2022, the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, is implementing an Application Programming Interface (API) based online data transfer system for Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles in India (FAME-II) scheme registration for electric two-wheeler (e2W) Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). This decision, documented under F. No. 7062019NABII Auto20307, dated September 30, 2022, follows stakeholder consultation meetings held on September 22 and 23, 2022, where the draft API system was demonstrated for capturing Domestic Value Addition (DVA) and Phase Manufacturing Programme (PMP) compliance. The online data transfer system is applicable to eligible e2W OEMs possessing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. OEMs without existing ERP systems retain the option to migrate to the online system or continue with the current data transfer method. This implementation supersedes all prior communications and instructions on this subject.

Implementation of API based on-line data transfer for FAME-II-reg.
e The Stakeholder Consultation meetings were conducted on
22.09.2022 and 23.09.2022 with all the Original Equipment
Manufacturers (OEMs) of e-2W wherein the Draft Application
Programming Interface (API) based on-line Data Transfer System
was demonstrated for capturing Domestic Value Addition (DVA)
and Phase Manufacturing Programme (PMP) compliance.
e Further, the Ministry of Heavy Industries has decided to implement
this API based on-line Data Transfer System for FAME-I] scheme
for e-2W OEMs w.e.f. 01° Oct, 2022.
e This online data transfer system will be applicable for those eligible
e-2W OEMs having Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
e Those OEM’s not having ERP systems at present will always have
option available to migrate to this online Data Transfer System or
they may continue with the existing system.
e This is in supersession of all previous correspondences/instructions
on the above mentioned subject.
