No. 19/06/2024-PCI—In addition to the “Associations of Persons” notified vide Notification of the Press Council
of India (No. 19/01/2023-PCI-(Part-3)) dated 28th October, 2024 published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part III
Section 4, No. 889 dated November 1, 2024, the following Association of Persons stands notified in the category referred to
in clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 5 of the Press Council Act, 1978. This is in pursuance of the order no. W.P.(C)
16202/2024 of High Court, Delhi dated 22nd November, 2024 and also this is subject to the outcome of the Letters Patent
Appeal(LPA) which may be filed before Hon’ble High Court of Delhi by the Press Council of India challenging the above
mentioned order of High Court of Delhi dated 22nd November, 2024.
