S.O. 1294(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956
(48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officer mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule
annexed here to as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from
the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land specified in the
corresponding entry I column (3) of the said Schedule relating to districts, taluk, police station and village mentioned in
column (5), (6) and (7) respectively of the said operation from Km. 71.330 to Km. 81.479 on Jaina More - Gola -
Ormanjhi section of Bharatmala Pariyojana for building (widening / four-laning, etc.), maintenance, management and
