S.O. 5955(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways
Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule
annexed hereto as the competent authorities to perform the functions of such authorities under the said Act with effect
from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from Km. 0.000
to Km. 74.750 of the National Highway No. (No. Yet to be Assigned) in Anantapur District & from Km. 74.750 to
Km. 155.550 of the National Highway No. (No. Yet to be Assigned) in Kurnool District for building (widening/four-
