NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 11th August, 2020
S.O. 2722(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) Section 3 of the National Highways
Act, 1956 the Central Government had published 3(a) notification vide S.O. No.1650 dated.22.06.2015 in
Government Gazette of India and authorize the officer mentioned in Colum No.2 of the scheduled annexed
thereto subsequently the Central Government has partially amendment and addition made in the 3 (a)
notification published in Government gazette of India vide S.O.No.1286 dated.01.04.2016 and authorize
Sub Divisional Officer Ausa Renapur, Latur ,Ahmadpur, of district Latur, Kandhar Nanded Hadgaon of
District Nanded & Sub-Divisional Officers Kalamnuri of District Hingoli have been appointed as
competent Authority for land acquisition to the extent to their jurisdiction stretch.
Whereas the District Collector, Latur has requested vide its Letter No. 395 dated.28.05.2020 that
the Sub Divisional Officer Ahmadpur services are required for setting cantonment zones in the corona
affected areas of Chakur and Ahmadpur Taluka, also Drinking water scarcity in Ahmadpur Revenue Sub
Division and huge payment of land compensation is yet to be paid in view of above reasons the Collector
Latur has recommended the Dy-Collector of Land Acquisition (Purna Project) District Collector’s Office
Latur as a Competent Authority for Sub Division office, Ahmadpur area stretch, hence following
amendment proposed in the 3(a) published Gazette notification vide S.O.No.1286 in Government of India
on 01.04.2016.
i) Against Serial number 1 relating to district “Latur” against Taluka “Chakur and Ahmadpur” in
Colum No.2 (a) instead of word the Competent Authority Sub-Divisional Officer & Land Acquisition
Officer Ahmadpur the word Deputy Collector , Land Acquisition (Purna Project), District Collector’s
Office Latur shall be substituted.
