NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 23rd September, 2016 No. CWC/XIV-4/Rectt.—In exercise of powers conferred by section 42 of the Warehousing Corporations Act, 1962 (58 of 1962), the Central Warehousing Corporation, with the previous sanction of the Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Central Warehousing Corporation (Staff) Regulations, 1986, namely:—

1. (1) These regulations may be called the Central Warehousing Corporation (Staff) Amendment Regulations, 2016.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Central Warehousing Corporation (Staff) Regulations, 1986, in Appendix-II-

(a) under the heading “General Management Cadre”:-

(i)(cid:32) against Serial Number 1, for the post of Executive Director and the entries relating thereto, the

following shall be substituted namely:- S. For filing up the post by promotion interview shall also be conducted by the Selection Committee (Departmental Promotion Committee) besides selection method (as per Govt. guidelines).
