NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 21st September, 2015
No. CWC/XIV-4/Rectt.—In exercise of powers conferred by section 42 of the Warehousing
Corporations Act,1962 (58 of 1962), the Central Warehousing Corporation, with the previous sanction of the
Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Central Warehousing
Corporation (Staff) Regulations,1986, namely:-
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Central Warehousing Corporation (Staff),Amendment Regulations,
2015.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Warehousing Corporation (Staff) Regulations, 1986, in Regulation 9, in sub-regulation
(B), after clause (iii), the following clause shall be inserted, namely :-
“ (iv) Where juniors who have completed their qualifying or eligibility service are being considered for
promotion, their seniors would also be considered provided they are not short of the requisite qualifying
or eligibility service by more than half of such qualifying or eligibility service or two years, whichever is
less, and have successfully completed their probation period for promotion to the next higher grade along
with their juniors who have already completed such qualifying or eligibility service”.
