G.S.R. 496(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by Sections 6 and 25 of the Environment
(Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to
amend the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, Namely :-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Environment (Protection) Fourth Amendment Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986 in Schedule I, for serial number 10 and the entries relating to
SO and NO , the following shall be substituted, namely:-
