O.N. 48(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the Representation of
the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India hereby appoints, in addition to the officers
appointed by its Notification No. 434/WB-HP/2014(2), dated 6th March, 2014, as amended from time to time,
each of the officers of the Government of the West Bengal as specified in column No. (2) of the table below as
Additional Assistant Returning Officer to assist the Returning Officer of the Parliamentary Constituencies in
Counting of Votes in the State of West Bengal as specified in column (1) of the said table during the Bye-
