In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 8 of the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act, 1995 (7 of 1995) , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, number S.O. 2693(E), dated the 5th September, 2013 (hereinafter referred to as the principal notification)
This notification, S.O. 1388(E), issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on May 25, 2015, amends the principal notification S.O. 2693(E) dated September 5, 2013, under the Cable Television Networks Regulation Act, 1995 (7 of 1995). The amendment inserts "DD Kisan Infotainment" in Hindi after serial number 24 in Table I of the principal notification and inserts "DD Kisan" in Prime band after serial number 9 in Table II. The responsible authority is R. Jaya, Joint Secretary.

In the principal notification, ––
(i) in Table-I, after serial number 24 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted,

(ii) in Table-II, after serial number 9 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted,
namely:––
