In exercise of powers conferred by Sub-section 3 read with Clause (b), Sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), the Central Govt., hereby appoints Shri Tapan Ray, Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
This notification, S.O. 2727(E), issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs, Financial Markets Division on October 5, 2015, appoints Shri Tapan Ray, Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, as a Part-Time Member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). This appointment is effective immediately and until further orders, replacing Ms. Anjuly Chib Duggal, former Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
