O. N. 70 (E).— In exercise of the power conferred by sub-Section (1) of Section 22 of the Representation of the People
Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), read with Rule 27A of the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961, as inserted by the Conduct of Elections
(Amendment) Rules, 1999, the Election Commission of India hereby appoints the officers, mentioned in column (2) of the
Table below, as Assistant Returning Officers for the ‘notified’ class of voters, as notified by the Commission in its Notification
No. 3/J&K/2019(N) and No. 3/J&K/2019(S), both dated 18th March, 2019 to assist the Returning Officers of the Parliamentary
Constituencies mentioned against their name in column (1) of that Table, and for the performance of the functions assigned to
such Assistant Returning Officers under Part-III A of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, as amended, at the General
