In exercise of the power conferred by the sub-section (6) of Section 20F of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Govt., hereby makes the following amendments in the notification number S.O. 1671(E), dated 14th July, 2010, Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, sub-section (ii), (Extraordinary), published on dated 15th July, 2010 namely.
This notification, S.O. 2294(E), issued by the Ministry of Railways, Railway Board on August 20, 2015, amends notification S.O. 1671(E) dated July 14, 2010, published in the Gazette of India on July 15, 2010. The amendment pertains to the districts listed in the table within the original notification. Specifically, against Serial Number 1, Column 3, the districts "Thane, Raigad" are replaced with "Thane, Raigad and Palghar." This action is taken in exercise of the power conferred by subsection 6 of Section 20F of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989).
